How to Create a Task Set

From AdaptableGIMP Wiki

Jump to: navigation, search

Task sets can be created either on the wiki, or from within AdaptableGIMP. In either case, a wiki page will be created for the task set.

NOTE: There is no way to make changes to an already-created task set on the wiki from within AdaptableGIMP. You can, however, create a task set in AdaptableGIMP, and then make changes to it on the wiki.

Creating a Task Set on the Wiki

Before you begin, make sure you are logged in to the wiki. To login, click here. If you haven't created an account in AdaptableGIMP or on the wiki, you can create one now by clicking the Create an Account link on the login page.

Step 1. First, check to see if a task set already exists for the purpose you have in mind. We're not against having multiple task sets for a given task, but who knows, there might be a task set that's exactly what you had in mind.
Step 2. In the Search box at the top right of the wiki, type "TaskSet:" followed by the name of the task set that you wish to create and click Search. For example, you might type "TaskSet:Fixing Old Photos". 1 type in search.png
Step 3. The returned page will include a link to create the task set. Click it. Click the link.png
Step 4. Add a blurb describing your task set, select the commands that you wish to include, and write a description. 3 wiki adding commands.png
Step 5. When you are finished editing, click the Save Page button to save the task set.

Note that it might take a few minutes before your task set starts showing up in searches within AdaptableGIMP.
